WW - Day 347 closer and closer

On Saturday I flew past the next milestone with a weightloss of 2.2 pounds for the week. I recieved my 75 pound award for a cumulative loss of 76.2 pounds.

I am 2.6 pounds from my WW goal. Woo hoo!!!!!!!

I have been making pointed efforts to get some more strenuous exercise this past week. I took Friday off and decided to take a long bike ride, just to see if I could do such a thing. The route was 13.8 miles and I did it in under 1.5 hours. Yesterday, I walked a 10k with Karla Paterson and Deb Wood. It was a very interesting route starting and ending at Leslie Science Center. It was just awesome to find new neighborhoods and paths in my own hometown! I can't wait to do that walk again sometime!

I've also signed myself up to do the 10k walk portion of the Dexter-Ann Arbor Run on May 31. I'm thrilled that I CAN do these activities.

FOOD: You don't have to nickle and dime the food points when you can earn 6 points for an activity during the day! But even so, when I get home from some sort of exercise I don't want to grab a bunch of junk to eat -- I'm craving Mango! Pineapple! Banana! I want to eat, but I want a salad! So maybe the brain is as energized as my heart and muscles. And this is GOOD.

MOOD: So I'm sitting here this morning and the backs of my thighs are definitely tight. (You need to stretch, dummy!) But I am very happy and quite pleased with what I have been able to do. I am making a better life for myself and I am so much more content with everything. There is still "stuff." Things that aren't fixed by getting exercise or losing weight. What's different is that these problems are not compounded by my inability to control myself. I feel empowered.
