WW - Day 113 I can TASTE it!

This week I lost 4.6 pounds! (In ONE WEEK! That's better than some of the 2nd week contestants on the Biggest Loser!!!)

I am .8 pounds from the big 40. As Georgia would say, "That's four bowling balls!!!" I'm very excited that my birthday goal is in sight, and that I may be able to revise the goal -- to maybe lose my AGE by my birthday, which will be 44.

Yahoo!

Last night I was bemoaning the fact that I can't walk first thing in the morning anymore. Rob said he sees people out walking and running every day when he's driving to work at 5:45am. He suggested I get a reflective vest and some blinky lights and just do it. So I headed out to Dunham's and purchased those things, along with some mace and a flashlight. I think I'm gonna give it a try to see how safe (or unsafe) I feel. It sure will be great if it works out!

FOOD - I'm making a recipe for Moraccan Carrot dip from a WW book I picked up today. Something new to do with carrots! I'm sure it will be interesting straight up, but I'm wondering what it would be like with riced cauliflower as a side dish? Hmmm... the food adventures continue.

MOOD - Well, I'm thrilled. I'm feeling empowered, energetic, and like your basic hottyboombotty! I have 44.6 pounds until I reach my goal. I'm almost halfway there and I've done it faster than I ever thought possible.
