WW - Day 72 Rocketing toward 10%

The weigh-in yesterday yielded an award - Yay! I passed 25 pounds, actually losing a total of 26 so far. Unless I'm stuck this week I should get my 10% key ring next Saturday, and that will be a week earlier than I had hoped, so that is all good.

FOOD - The food part of this thing is remarkably non-eventful. For the most part, I don't eat those extra 35 points each week. In the whole 72 days of this program, I have probably used a GRAND TOTAL of 35 extra points. The foods I love I still eat, but just a lot less. I now have that little voice that says "Really? Do you really need that?" I believe I will have to continue to journal for many many months to make sure I remain on track.

MOOD - Well, I'm very pleased to have passed the 25 pound mark. Somehow being 4 pounds away from 30 makes 30 my next big moment. The key ring will be a big deal, but I'm more excited about the numbers with zeros and fives on the end. But I am truly pleased with the success and my new body shape (although there's much room for improvement!). I am astonished at what 26 pounds actually feels like. I cannot believe how hard it is to carry that in free weights -- I just did it to see what it felt like. Imagine the strain on my back, my knees, and my ankles -- not to mention my lungs and my HEART!
