WW - Day 9
FOOD: Still continuing in good girl mode. Planning ahead, measuring things out. The food part is actually somewhat simple because we ate well before WW. It's mostly just portion control. I have decided against some things, of course. I'd rather not blow my points on a bagel, for example, if a piece of Ezekiel bread toast will do. But no deprivation or introduction of peculiar bad-tasting substitute foods, so things are good.
MOOD: I know it will be harder to put up such great results as I continue and I guess I'm sort of sad about that. The week was so easy I'd love to emerge from the summer at my goal, but it is impossible to keep that pace for very long because your metabolism catches up with the plan and adjusts accordingly. I think I read that you need to keep introducing new stuff to keep your body guessing what's coming up next. I'm not sure just how to do that. Oh well. I guess we'll just have to take it week to week. I'm still enjoying the success, but somewhat wary of future weigh-ins.
