WW - Day 8: Week one is done
I lost 6.7 pounds!
FOOD: Thursday I went to M-Fit while Griffin had his practice and I worked out on the elliptical, the treadmill, and the recumbent bike for 55 minutes -- wow was I beat. But we came home and I made a really awesome pasta with long thin strips of zucchini. I just tossed the zucchini in at the last minute, drained all, and served it up. YUM. Friday had been a less active day with no walking so I only had a point left. Nothing really interesting on the food front there, more grazing. I was so busy yesterday, I hardly remembered to eat so there were many points left over at dinnertime. We had corn on the cob (which isn't spectacular yet) with my new I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray. That will get me through corn season! I also picked up some good kryovac organic top sirloins on manager's special. Grilled one of those up with some zucchini rounds. Fabulous dinner for only 5 points! Today is Father's day and we have ribs and fried green tomatoes on the menu for dinner... I need to be especially good today to make sure I can eat without worry.

MOOD: Just short of euphoria. The meeting yesterday morning was really exciting. I was so proud of my accomplishment and the support from the group was enthusiastic. The walking each day makes a huge difference. Yesterday I grabbed the kids and we took off on my route late morning. Griffin is very excited for me and very encouraging. He wants to come on walks. Rob got up with me this morning and did my route. If I can get Rob to join me each day, it would be wonderful for both of us. I think he'll be doing WW by the end of the summer. And if it makes me feel this good, it can only benefit Rob, too.
